Is your glass up to scratch?
““He looked out of the window to think, because without a window he couldn’t think. Or maybe it was the other way around: When there was a window, he automatically started to think. ”
? Guus Kuijer, The Book of Everything
Job: Remove old scratched windows with damaged tinted film and fit new grey tinted glass.
Customer feedback: “It’s like going from an old TV to High Definition (HD) or getting a better pixelated camera. Nature just “pops” through the window.”
Can I use window tinting film instead of tinted glass?
Initially, this may seem like a more cost-effective solution. However, all window film deteriorates with age (especially in our NZ climate) and so has to be removed eventually. Bubbling is a sign that the adhesive used to apply the tint to the window is failing. After a single bubble appears, many more will follow. If you attempt to remove the window tint simply by peeling, you’ll probably end up with a sticky mess on the glass that will take several hours to scrape. … And scraping may of course lead to scratching the glass.
Tinted Glass: What colours are available?
